Some of the disciplines that the scholarship offers are engineering, advanced technology, management and design. Also, the important point about this scholarship is that all the courses offered in this scholarship program are in English. One of the positive and important points in this scholarship is that students will be able to pass internships in selected Italian companies and will have a high chance to enter the professional labor market.
The aim of this program is to strengthen the cooperation between Italian universities and Italian companies in order to eliminate the need for specialized personnel and the internationalization of the business environment, which will ultimately improve the quality of jobs throughout Italy. As mentioned above, this scholarship is designed for students from specific countries, including the Republic of Azerbaijan, Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Iran, Ghana, Kazakhstan, Mexico, China, Tunisia, Turkey and Vietnam.
The IYT Scholarship is paid for 9 months of the academic year from October for 9 months. The scholarship includes university tuition and a payment of € 900 per month, which is deposited in an Italian bank account in the applicant’s name.
Only students who qualify for the IYT Scholarship can apply to participate in this competition. Applicants for this scholarship will be eligible for applicants who have received their bachelor’s degree in one of the fields mentioned earlier. It should be noted that people who are currently studying at an Italian university and people who have graduated from one of the (Italian) majors cannot apply for this scholarship. Students are allowed to choose a curriculum to apply for the scholarship, and their second choice is only allowed for majors for which fewer applicants have applied, and to apply automatically through the system.
In addition, students must have a good knowledge of English. The minimum language level accepted for this scholarship is level B2. It is not necessary to have a language degree when applying for this scholarship, but having a language degree will definitely affect your admission process.
Another important point for scholarships is that the applicant must be under 26 years of age. Students should also make a one-minute film of themselves and motivate themselves to choose a major and study in Italy. Note that this movie must be less than 10 MB in size.
