University Introduction
The University of Palermo (UNIPA) is a cultural, scientific and educational university in the center of western Sicily. The university consists of five faculties and 20 departments, covering approximately 122 Bachelore degree, 44 Master degree, and 23 doctoral programs, usually in collaboration with other research institutes and companies. The University Hospital is a public health center run in collaboration with the School of Medicine. The hospital provides first aid and bed rest services for one or more nights. There is a close connection between the University of Palermo and the labor market in Italy. Usually third-year Bachelore degree students and second-year Master degree students experience working and working in private or public companies and agencies.
The University of Palermo has 20 main departments where researchers are studying and researching current world issues every day to find new solutions to help humanity in the field of science. These issues are about biology, mathematics, medicine, social sciences and cultural heritage. The university is trying to play its part in the field of innovation and development of the society in an efficient way, so it has expanded its research departments and accepted students from all over the world in various scientific fields.
